The weather in Marbella

Marbella is a city located in southern Spain. Themountains of the Sierra Blanca are the backdrop to the 27 km of sandy beacheson the Mediterranean, luxury villas and golf courses. To the west of the cityof Marbella, lies the Golden Mile of prestigious clubs and coastal estatesreaches Puerto Banus, full of luxurious yachts and surrounded by luxury storesand bars. Marbella gained its popularity around Spain and the world not onlyfor this, but also for its year-round sunny climate accompanied by spectaculartemperatures that make Marbella an attractive place to live, undertake or spenda vacation.

The average climate and weather in Marbella:


From Inmo Marbella House, we are going to tell you about the climate and the temperature that awaits you if you want to come to Marbella to live permanently or simply to spend a vacation. Marbella, due to its geographical location,has a very particular climate with plenty of warm and sunny days. It can besaid that in Marbella there are only 45 days of rain per year but even with unstable and cloudy weather the average day time temperature is still around18-20ºC. During the year, the temperature oscillates between 10ºC and 29ºC. 

The weather during the year in Marbella:

Thebeginning of the year in Marbella is different from the rest of Spain. Januaryand February are months that a priori we could think that they are months ofrain, in general, bad temperatures but not in Marbella and that makes itspecial and different. In January and February we have an average temperatureof about 12-15ºC with minimum temperatures of 10ºC.

From March onwards the temperature gradually increases with an average of 15ºC. In April and May the average daytime temperature is around 23-25ºC and during the night it stays at an average of 15-16ºC. During these months the season to start going to the beach to sunbathe, go to the swimming pool, etc. begins.

Thesummer months in Marbella is where the temperature and in general the weather reaches its peak. However, thanks to the cool water of the Mediterranean andthe light sea breeze that regulates the temperature you will not feel thatsuffocating heat. June is one of the most pleasant months in terms of weather with an average temperature 22 °С. The weather in July in Marbella is almost the same as in August. During the day an average of 29 °С and at night it is about 22 °С.

The weather in Marbella in September is still summer with average temperature of about 26-27 °С. In early October, calm and warm weather with a temperature of 23°С and the amount of precipitation increases only at the end of the month. 

Theperiod of sunbathing on the beach ends completely in November, i.e. almost 7months!!!!. The maximum temperature during the day is 19 °С, at night it drops to 12 °С at the same or very similar 1-2 °С above and below is presented themonth of December.

In conclusion, from the meteorological point of view any time is good to stay or travel to Marbella thanks to the pleasant temperatures that occur during allmonths of the year. So do not hesitate and come!
